GET /:urlname/events/:event_id/comments

Lists the comments and replies posted in a given Meetup Event.

To view the list of likes for a comment or reply see the likes endpoint

Request Parameters

A valid path parameter for :urlname and :event_id is required.

fields

A comma-delimited list of optional fields to append to the response. Currently only "self" is supported

Response

Returns a list of comments and their replies.

If the organizer of the Meetup group hosting the event these comments were posted in has chosen to restrict the visibility of their group to members, and the authenticated member is not a member of that group, a 403 Forbidden response will be returned.

Request Parameters

A path parameter for :urlname, :event_id, and :comment_id is required.

In addition, authorized oauth applications should request the group_content_edit permission scope.

If posting a reply, set this to the numeric identifier of the associated top level comment

A boolean value indicating whether or not you wish to recieve future notifications about updates to this comment thread
