The Mendix Community Meetups are about meeting other makers, knowledge sharing, and learning something new. To learn more about the meetups or if you want to organize your meetup, contact the Community Team at community at http://mendix.com. - Round Table Mendix Meetup by CLEVRCLEVR, Amersfoort
Mendix Meetups are about sharing knowledge and connecting with other makers. Therefore, we are introducing a new Meetup format that supports exactly that. Join us for guided discussions on various topics. In smaller subgroups, you will discuss technical and organizational dilemmas from your daily work.
We ensure discussions run smoothly and create a safe environment for sharing insights. Even if you are new to Mendix, this is a perfect opportunity to hear how other developers approach daily challenges.
Some sample statements you may encounter:
- Storing (integration) logs in your app database: necessity, anti-pattern, or case dependent?
- The use of Task Queue: should task-driven modeling be a standard, or is this merely advice by exception?
- Fully detailed user stories provided with acceptance criteria, test scripts, and an estimate: a prerequisite for good work, fine but unnecessary, or even a delay for the low-code development process?
- What makes or breaks a good peer review in Mendix?
- From a list of supportive technologies and skills, which should be on almost every Mendix developer's wish list?
- And many more..
As you can see, there are enough topics to discuss. The good news is that you're even allowed to add your own! At the end of the evening, we will present the outcomes of all discussions in a brief summary.
Overall, it is the perfect way to gain knowledge, share your insights, and meet other community members.
Submit your own challenge or dilemma!
We want to invite everyone to contribute topics. A good topic is something you've encountered more often and that you know or suspect developers look at differently. For the conversations to run smoothly, we want to start all discussions with a multiple-choice list. The form below allows you to add an unlimited number of topics. It helps us tremendously if you briefly describe the dilemma and supplement it with some solution options or directions you think are realistic or have come across in your career.
