I always love hosting these at the Seaport.
The Boston Seaport has a lot to offer. There's restaurants, stores, flea markets, harbor walks, and even a beer garden. Since this will be on a Saturday, there are only metered parking spots, which are limited. There are parking garages, but they do cost money to park. Everyone is responsible for finding their own parking should they choose to drive in.
I highly recommend taking the train into the city and getting off at the Courthouse Silver Line stop, which you can catch from South Station on the Red Line. I recommend catching the Silverline instead of walking from South Station to the meeting location. At the very least, I recommend taking an Uber/Lyft to the meetup location if you absolutely have to.
We will walk around the HarborWalk and stop halfway for a break. We will also stop by some of the shops along the way too.
I was born and raised in the city of Boston and have forgotten more about this specific area of Boston than others would know. It's my pleasure to show people around this area and to have fun while doing so. I think it's best to meet at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial location near the Courthouse Silver Line entrance on Seaport Boulevard.
This event is whether permitted. If it rains on that day, it will be postponed to the following week.
If you do a plan on attending, please actually RSVP. we get a lot of people who attend without rsvping, and that is very suspicious.
I plan on arriving half an hour early and will post photos of where I am. I will wait no more than 15 minutes after 2 pm before starting the walk, no exceptions. Please give yourself plenty of time on your commute. If you are running late, feel free to catch up with us. I will post my Google Voice number the day of so that people can get a hold of me if they are running late and want to catch up.
