My name is Luke, and I pride myself, and our community on being consciously inclusive -- we all strive to get to know one another by name -- and for facilitating ways in which our members can connect more deeply through meditation, yoga, and social experiences.
We are all about Creativity, Community, and Consciousness!
We host yoga, meditation, and social events outdoors in Royal Oak parks and have been featured in the Royal Oak Insight magazine published by the Royal Oak Department of Parks & Recreation. Regular yoga and meditation classes are also hosted at a fully equipped studio in Royal Oak. Monthly, we offer a Local Variety Show, during which my friend Will and I procure a talented lineup of performance artists and musicians willing to share with our community. Occasional social gatherings, as well as classes, events, and workshops outside the scope of yoga and meditation, give our community the chance to come together with each other to experience something new.
Join this group if you are looking to deepen (or begin) your yoga or meditation/mindfulness practice, or are looking to make new friends and connect with like-minded souls. Side effects may also include increases in self-esteem, living more consciously, accepting personal responsibility for changes you'd like to make in your life, cultivating more loving relationships, and more!
Please come on out and meet up with us after soon after you join!
You can join our meetup group and opt-in to email announcements as well as sign up for our text alerts at michiganyogameetups.com to make sure you don't miss out on a chance to meet up with us! We also have an Eventbrite page: https://michiganyogameetups.eventbrite.com
