What we’re about
Meet the Retiree Club! We're here to bring you social events to individuals both transitioning into retirement and also those currently in retirement.
We'll be hosting events generally from Redwood City to Los Altos but mostly concentrated around the Palo Alto area.
What you can expect:
- Regularly occurring awesome events
- Events planned based on members' feedback and events hosted by our own members
- Free and paid-for events, depending on the type of event
- Acceptance of all individuals, genders, and identities
- Virtual learning opportunities to explore everything from AI to healthy aging
- Speakers who bring expert opinions
- Occasional dating events when specifically stated in the event title.
What you will not see and what we DO NOT support:
- Fake accounts in here trying to steal your information
- Soliciting from any businesses or sponsors
- Discrimination, hateful speech, or anything that is harmful behavior to others
Our Event Policy:
- For events that have 2 RSVPs or less, we reserve the right to cancel at any time so that no one ends up alone at an event.
- For events that have 2 RSVPs or less with a SPEAKER, we will cancel 10 days out
