MN D&D and RPG Games

Join a new DND5e campaign. You can bring your own 1st level character or use a provided pre-generated character. I would like to run at least 4 sessions of this game and see where we go from there.

I am a veteran DM but still adapting to 5e. My style focuses more on flexibility and narrative than strict adherence to the Rules As Written. I have very few house rules -- the ones I do have are used to help run the game more smoothly.

I use white boards and dry erase markers to quickly sketch out areas to keep combat and encounters moving at a lively pace rather than getting bogged down but may break out the minis on occasion.

The smell of salt and churned earth pervades the lands known as The Evergreen. A vast marshland with dark, swampy waters and the small bayou town Rotwood. A strange, treacherous place to begin an adventure, The Evergreen lies south of the steamy Jungles of Chult off Faerun's Samarach Peninsula.

The Eden Prairie Library does not allow food but you can bring sealed drinks like a water bottle. There are a lot of restaurants and food choices nearby if you want to grab a bite before or after the game session.

I have reserved the Green Foxtail Room 137 which is toward the rear of the library on the right hand side.
