What we’re about
Looking for a refreshing way to start your day? Join us once a week for a morning walk in Monsanto park to enjoy some fresh air and scenic views right in the middle of the city. Our goal is to come together for a peaceful and calming walk that will set a positive tone for the rest of our day, maybe even clear our minds and reduce some stress!
This club encourages community and making new connections, but also welcomes quiet, introspective walks together. Each walk will be kept small to support a comfortable, familiar atmosphere.
Each route will be circular and take approximately 1 hour.
These walks are inclusive: All fitness levels, ages, genders, and nationalities are welcome, including (well-behaved) furry friends. Our pace will be set by the slowest walker.
Out of respect to the group and nature, please be prepared to stow your phone and keep it on silent for the duration of the walk.
All of the Monsanto Morning Walks are, and will always be, free! If you would like to contribute to the costs of running the group on Meetup, feel free to donate whatever feels right for you on any walk you join.
See you in the park!
