Join the Morris County Ski Club for a day of skiing at Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA on Monday, January 13, 2025! Blue is about a 1 hr and 25 min drive from Morris Plains (Taking Route 80 West), and about a 1 hr and 10 min drive from Bedminster. (Taking Route 78 West)

Blue Mountain Resort is on the IKON pass! Non-IKON pass holders can purchase tix on-line.

Blue boasts a 1082 ft. vertical as the highest in PA.
Trail stats:

15 Black or Double Black

Plus 5 terrain parks.
Blue has 11 lifts as well as 1 high speed quad and 2 high speed six pack lifts.
Meet time: between 9:00 and 9:30 in the Valley Lodge. (The lower lot. See photo below.) Walk past the coffee bar to the back room. Plenty of tables and cubbies on the right as you walk in.

Thursday, January 30, 2025!

There is no set time for the happy hour, so please join us as soon as you can that evening!

The Iron Bar is known for "North Jersey's longest bar, soaring ceilings, great music, large screen TVs creative cocktails, great food and great service."

Parking: There is on-street parking (if you are lucky) with meters as well as the Dehart Street Parking Complex on Dehart Street (one way street) behind the Iron Bar. The Iron Bar has backdoor accessibility from the parking garage. There is also a parking lot across from the parking complex on Dehart Street which is available after banking hours (though it fills up quickly).

Join the Morris County Ski Club for a fun day skiing at the lovely Elk Mountain Ski Resort in Union Dale, PA. Elk is well known for its wide open trails and smaller crowds than most of the resorts in PA, NJ or NY.
Elk Mountain is just a 2 hour drive from Morris Plains, NJ via Route 80.
Elk has 27 trails on a 925” vertical.
