Join us for an evening of lightning talks covering a wide range of topics from Software Testing to Baking Bread (Possibly).
Connor is going to start off the evening with a short talk of his own and then we'll move onto the lightning talks themselves.
For those who aren't familiar with the lightning talk setup it'll consist of approximately 8 short talks about different topics, each talk should last around 5 minutes and it's a great opportunity for people with no or little experience of public speaking to take their first steps in a supportive environment.
It's also an opportunity for those with more experience to share something in a short and concise way introducing themselves to the wider test community in Newcastle and beyond.
Talks can be on any subject, if they've got a testing, tech or QA slant, great! If not that's great as well!!
We'll be looking for people to take part in the event so please drop the Ministry of Test Newcastle LinkedIn page or one of the organisers, Hannah, Himanshu, John, Paul, Jamie or Connor a message if you'd like to be involved. We'd need the topic and a slide (or maybe two) to put in the deck for the event.
Pizzas and refreshments will be provided as always and we'll also be looking to provide a small token of our appreciation for those doing a short talk.
We'll be heading to The Bacchus for a drink and a chat after the event so feel free to join us there.
