What we’re about
For everyone who loves movies! Check out our recent events to get an idea of what we're into and how many people usually attend. We don't bite (usually)!
We enjoy all different types of events, including but not limited to:
Opening weekend horror: nothing better than yelling at the screen with other horror fans!
Film club: watch movies and then get together to debrief!
[needs Event Organizer] Georgetown Movie Club: On Thursday evenings at AMC Georgetown 14, new releases are screened.
[needs Event Organizer] Shaolin Jazz Can I Kick It?: At each event, martial arts flicks and cult classic action films are screened and scored live (scene-by-scene) with a mix of hip-hop, funk, rock, jazz, and more mixed by DJ 2-Tone Jones.
[needs Event Organizer] Washington Psychotronic Film Society: For "movies of peculiar interest". Check out their website! Screenings are held every Monday evening at Stoney's on P.
And more! Need something a little more... odd? Check out the Meetup Group Oddball Cinema
