Synopsis:
Gule is preparing for her dream wedding in Serekaniye, a city in Western Kurdistan. But the city is bombed by the Turkish army, and thus begins the invasion. Gule is forced to flee the city.Along the way, she meets Barin, who couldn't finish her wedding that day, and Naze, with whom she ultimately shares her life and broken dreams at the school that serves as a refugee center. Berbû poignantly exposes the impact of war on the daily lives of these three young women.
The film is introduced by Joost Jongerden, associate professor at Wageningen University.
