Organizer Update - June 3, 2025:

To all members and prospective members: To make communications and event organizing easier please my use personal e-mail account, unknownkansan@yahoo.com

It seems the interest in those who have joined has waned. That is at least partially my fault. I started this group last year hoping to have a dinner party quickly. However, I am a federal employee and soon after the new year my job security came into serious question through no fault of my own. I wasn't in the mood to try to organize an event until recently. I have sent out a few e-mails recently to all members but I got no response because, due to inactivity, members have stopped checking for messages.

Consequently, unless at least a few members contact me by the end of June I will kill the group at least for a while.

HERE IS WHAT THIS GROUP IS ABOUT:

I and some friends are trying to form a group to throw murder mystery game dinner parties. Do an internet search for “How to Host a Murder” to learn more about the games published by Decipher, Inc. but don’t search for which characters done the deeds! Those games require 8 participants. Each game published by Decipher has 4 male characters and 4 female characters. We’re a few members short so we are trying to connect with other persons who are interested in some dinner party fun. The current members are all in the Warner Robins area. New crew members don't have to be local, though. We just all have to gather in person during the parties.

Some may think it’s childish but I say it’s innocent, adult fun and maybe also childlike in that participants have to let go of their fear of seeming silly and just have fun. We become amateur actors for the night, dress as our characters, laugh, enjoy dinner, and try to solve a murder! Chemistry among the participants is vital so the current members would like to meet potential partiers before holding an event.

If you are interested or want to learn more, take a risk and contact me through my yahoo e-mail address given above. You have nothing to lose. You could have an unexpectedly good time and maybe make new friends, too.

PLEASE NOTE: our group includes gay and lesbian members and we envision our murder mystery dinner parties being open to well-intentioned persons of all sorts.
