What we’re about
This group is for those who are approaching or over 50 years old, single, separated, divorced or widowed, and who are interested in meeting others with whom to enjoy exciting and fun activities. Group events will be scheduled to take place at public venues. Events will be scheduled during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends. We will schedule a variety of activities so that there is something for everyone!
There will be discussion threads by which you are encouraged to share ideas for events and other topics that may be relevant to the group membership.
The Myrtle Beach Area Over 50 Singles Scene Meetup group is NOT a dating site/service. As such, there will be no “vetting” of new members other than to request that they answer a few non-intrusive questions when requesting to join. The group will be private. Approved members will be able to contact each other, if desired. Any member who engages in behavior deemed dangerous or threatening will be removed from the group (at my discretion).
