Let's get together to meditate, join in community and hike in a beautiful setting together.

Bring a chair - I'll bring some extra chairs for anyone that needs. Chairs are recommended instead of yoga mats due to the amount of geese activity and evidence left by their presence on the grass.

Park in the north parking lot off Butterfield Rd. (Avoid parking in the parking lot off Herrick Rd as that will be a walk to the area we're meeting at.)
Once you enter the parking lot off Butterfield Rd turn RIGHT and drive as far as you can to the right to park. This will bring you closer to shaded area further from the sounds and traffic off Butterfield. I'm shifting the circle for this event a bit more into this shaded area on the northwest perimeter of the lake for a better experience away from the parking lot this time around. We'll form a community circle in the grass shaded area with our chairs.

I will share an intent to focus on then lead the group in an approximate 10 minute guided meditation together. Meditating outside in a natural setting tends to enhance the experience.

Please keep in mind that I am not a professional however I have been meditating on my own and in group settings for several years and enjoy sharing what I have experienced for myself with others if they find value in it.

After the meditation we can open up for discussion, reflection or sharing as you're comfortable and/or not. Our community circle time will last up to 1 hr.

We will have an opportunity to our return chairs and any other items to our vehicles along with taking a bathroom break before we embark on our hike.

Our hike will be 2.5 miles on the crushed stone trail around the Herrick Lake Forest Preserve. The hike should last about 45-60 mins.

Please come prepared with drinking water to stay hydrated. Sunscreen and/or hats for sun protection if you choose as some of the trail is in open unshaded areas.

Let’s meet for another circuit training on the hill! This workout can be challenging but can always be modified for all to enjoy!
There is options to come walk the hill to get started!
This is a great workout to build endurance and strength!
Can talk about drinks and food after!
Bring plenty of hydration and hope to see you there!

Therefore, I invite you to join me for enjoyable dancing and social activities on Thursday evening from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
The instructor will provide three dance lessons throughout the evening. The first lesson will commence at 7:00 PM, followed by the second at 8:00 PM and the third at 9:00 PM.

If you are able to attend, kindly arrive 6.30 PM which is thirty minutes prior to the scheduled start time to facilitate a warm-up dance session and ensure ample space on the floor for practice.
