What we’re about
Welcome to .NET Skåne. This is a group for anybody interested in learning, and sharing experiences around using .NET technologies.
Join us for the opportunity to learn from each other.
The ambition is to keep a low bar for anybody to be able to share what they're working on.

See all- Welcome to the February MeetupCharlie Foxtrot, Lund
Welcome!
Reserve the date for our .Net Skåne February meetup. This time at the Charlie Foxtrot offices in Lund!
Agenda:
- The power of state machines in software development (Max)
State machines are awesome! They allow you to solve problems in a clear, well-defined manner that often results in less bugs, intuitive understanding of the code and a natural separation of concerns.
Max will start off by going through state machine basics and then give examples of how he has used state machines in the past, which problems they are suitable for and how you can create state machine diagrams.
The last part will focus on what you should think about when choosing a state machine library, or even writing your own state machine engine. Max will go through how a simple state machine can be implemented in C#. - From Delegates to Lambda Expressions to Func
What are C# lambda expressions, and how do they work? How do they relate to delegates, Func, Action, and anonymous methods? This talk will break it down step by step, helping you understand how these concepts connect. By the end, you'll have a much clearer grasp of how lambdas work and how to use them effectively. - TBD
- Open discussion
About the speakers:
- Max Ringström
Max is a consultant at Charlie Foxtrot and currently on an assignment as a System Architect at TetraPak in Lund. He manages this by combining hard work, enthusiasm and a creative mindset.
Starting out as a mobile developer 15 years ago developing high security voice and text encryption solutions, he's since worked with web frontend, backend, software architecture, agile project leadership, interaction design and more. Always eager to learn new things. - Tore Nestenius - Microsoft .NET MVP
Tore is an independent educator and consultant through his company TN-Datakonsult, where he specializes in training developers in .NET, Web Security, OpenID-Connect, architecture, and more. Tore regularly shares his knowledge about .NET on his blog https://nestenius.se, focusing on security and authentication.
