Agenda:
- Advanced Security with GitHub without GitHub Advanced Security
Automating and securing your CI/CD-pipeline is an important step in creating efficient teams while maintaining a state of comfort amongst the developers by protecting the production environment with tests and tools. Some functionality requires relatively expensive subscriptions or enterprise level features, but there are a lot of recommendations and best practices that you could and should consider already available in the basic configuration. Let's threat model your CI/CD pipeline to identify threats, mitigations and verifications. - Comparing the security of architecture patterns
What happened with the security boundaries when you moved from a monolith to micro(ish) services? Might there be issues with just throwing all data into a queue or event bus? Will serverless, Kubernetes or the next thing just magically solve all our security issues?
These are questions that you may or may not feel are answered in this session. We will have a look at a few good security properties for architecture and see how they relate to some common patterns.
