What we’re about
I started by organising these events to spread love and kindness, which is a big purpose in my life. I also run other projects that may benefit you or others because I have seen a big need for them. It has been so successful in every way, more than I ever imagined, and they have helped so many people in so many ways, which filled my heart with so much joy. You will need to be quick because they fill up quick!
We are building an incredible community, and even some people say a family.
We have been building something special and changing people's lives for the better, and everyone is a part of that, so thank you. Hopefully, you will join this group to improve your wellbeing and health.
Looking to improve your life and wellbeing and have some fun along the way?
Are you looking to get out with some like-minded people?
Trying to figure out how to be happier?
My name is Mark D'Arcy, and I am the founder and creator of the New Forest Wellbeing Group, which aims to help you with your wellbeing and mental health and have a lot of fun doing it. The group will be doing walks, talking from the heart, picnics, camping, meals out, and other events.
My own purpose in life is to spread kindness and love with a caring attitude. This is the perfect way to achieve that, along with the other projects I do. Also, I am trying to change the world by bringing people together through spreading kindness, love, and compassion, which fills my own heart with so much joy! It’s a win-win for everyone.
I believe I can help you find some happiness and hopefully understand yourself more, especially in this crazy world we live in.
I encourage everyone to bring an open mind and a willingness to meet new people and make lasting, meaningful friendships. Our group will aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for anyone who needs it, and everyone over 18 is welcome. I will also offer some mindfulness and self-care strategies on our walks to help promote positive mental health.
The purpose is to bring like-minded people together while socialising face-to-face, helping people combat loneliness and mental health issues while having some meaningful conversations and connections.
My goal is to create a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. I hope to inspire and empower our members to lead healthier and happier lives.
So, if you're ready to join a community that values kindness, mental health, and wellbeing while having some fun, then the New Forest Wellbeing Group is the perfect group for you.

Beginners Archery and Bushcraft in the New Forest & So Much More...
Beaulieu Museum, Beaulieu, New Forest,, Hampshire, SO42 7ZN , GBBeginners Archery and Bushcraft in the New Forest
How about a day of beginner-friendly archery and bushcraft in one of the most peaceful corners of the New Forest? We’ll be on the Beaulieu Estate at a beautiful woodland venue with shelter and toilets, hosted by a company that gives back to the community, for which I am deeply grateful.About the Day
Please request the Metro CIC bank details and pay £21 with the event date as the reference before booking.
Arrival is at 10am. We’ll start with archery, followed by bushcraft, time to connect, and lunch (bring your own) in this stunning natural setting. I'll even bring some marshmallows for the fire.
This is more than an activity; it’s a chance to reconnect with nature, with others, and with yourself. There is no need to be anything other than who you are. Everything will be run by an experienced, trusted team who will look after us and make sure we feel safe.
I know that trying something new can feel difficult, especially when your mind pulls you towards the familiar. That is simply how we’re wired. But when we step gently into new experiences, with kind people beside us, we create space for new feelings, new connections, and change. That is what this community is about: supporting each other through it.
If finances are difficult or you’re not currently working, please just message me privately. We will make sure you can still come.
Please don’t book without paying first. If you choose not to attend after contributing, please know your kindness still supports the community. Why We Do This
This community continues to grow into something I never imagined, with people leaving with lighter hearts, new friendships, and a deeper connection to their wellbeing. We are building something meaningful together, where kindness and honesty matter.
Our purpose is simple: to bring people together in nature, support mental health, ease loneliness, and create real human connection. This is helping people in quiet, powerful ways, and I am honoured to be part of it with you.About New Forest Wellbeing CIC

- Distance: about 6.4 miles
- Terrain: gentle heathland paths and woodland tracks

Something magical is happening
This community is something truly special. From the laughter to the quiet moments, the walks that lift your spirit, to the connections that carry on long after we’ve left the woods or shoreline…
We’re building something that matters. A space where kindness ripples outward, where we support mental health, tackle loneliness, and make room for joy, reflection, and belonging. The New Forest is well known for its ancient oak, ash and beech woodlands, but in the mid-1800s a forest worker planted an abundance of sequoia redwoods, conifers, azaleas & rhododendrons in the grounds of Rhinefield to create the famous Ornamental Drive that’s still visible today.
Although not native trees, the giant redwoods have grown to be the tallest trees in the national park and are a mightily impressive sight for anyone who explores this wonderful woodland walkway.
With warmth, Mark
