The purpose of this meetup group is to connect "New to Nashville" music professionals with the local industry movers and shakers.
Join this group if you are a:
- Musician

We'll be hanging at HOME - Helping Our Music Evolve and listening to some music in the studios while building targeted relationships. HOME is a gorgeous 24/7 music production and coworking facility in a very convenient East Nashville location. There's also:

> Shalom "J Storm" Miller is a GRAMMY-winning, multi-platinum music producer, songwriter, audio engineer, and artist manager celebrated for his genre-spanning impact in pop, R&B, urban, and gospel. His journey began at four years old, playing drums at church alongside gospel legends like John P. Kee and The Winans, with his foundation built by his gospel-singing parents. By 19, Shalom joined the professional music scene with Missy Elliott’s label, The Goldmind Inc., as part of the Soul Diggaz production team, producing for renowned artists like Beyoncé, Gwen Stefani, and Clipse.
> Since relocating to Nashville, Shalom has founded Power Move Management Group, a management and publishing company, where he continues to champion emerging and established artists. He is also passionate about mentorship and music education, sharing his industry expertise both locally and online to equip artists with the knowledge to build sustainable careers. Additionally, Shalom serves as co-chair of the NAACP Nashville’s education committee, advancing equity and opportunity for Black and African-American communities in the music industry. His career is marked by a commitment to elevating the next generation of artists through music and mentorship.
