Meet My Music: Virtual Studio Hang & Members Only Sync Deconstruction
Online>> Sync isn’t guesswork. There are patterns. There are decisions that move the needle.
This session is built to help you see them... and use them.In this two-part experience, Mimi McCarley will guide creators through a hands-on look at what makes a sync placement work and how to sharpen your own music with sync potential in mind.
>> Part One: Sync Deconstruction
We’ll break down a real sync placement from top to bottom. Arrangement, tone, dynamics, lyrics, tempo, mix. You’ll hear what mattered most and why it landed. Learn what serves the scene, supports the story, and earns the placement. No trend-chasing required.>> Part Two: Member Track Workshop
Active HOME members only, this is your chance to bring a song in progress. Something you think could work for sync. We’ll listen, dissect, and offer feedback grounded in what we just learned. The goal is creative clarity: shape your song into something placement-ready.>> RSVP if you want to:
- Observe the sync breakdown and learn from real-world examples
- Understand what supervisors and licensors are listening for
- Watch how songs are reshaped in real time to better fit the brief
Only active HOME members can submit music, but the session is open to the public. For security purposes, everyone must RSVP through the HOME App to access the event link.
Please RSVP and join this event HERE.

HOME - Helping Our Music Evolve, 615 Main St g1, Nashville, TN, USWe're inviting women from all corners of the music industry - business, creative, touring, and PR - for a monthly support group. This is a safe and confidential space where you can share the highs and lows of your journey, be yourself, and connect with others who could become part of your support system. Each month, we’ll focus on a different that helps us reflect, reset, and move forward together.
This month, our group session will focus on doing a Reality Check—a practice of accepting life as it is in order to create meaningful change. Together, we’ll explore key questions that help us see our current reality more clearly, recognize what we can and cannot change, and notice the light that already exists in our lives. Through reflection and supportive discussion, we’ll find ways to move forward with clarity, acceptance, and hope.
Every participant signs a confidentiality agreement, ensuring that what’s shared in the room stays in the room.
Free tea and coffee will be available, or BYOB, so you can settle in and make yourself at home.
The discussion will be moderated by Femke, an award-winning songwriter, producer, and record label owner. Femke also serves on the boards of the Helping Music Foundation and the Recording Academy and is a passionate advocate for women and mothers in music.
Join us for a cozy evening of sharing and support as we work through these challenges together, and remind each other that we do belong.

Meet My Music: Virtual Studio Hang
OnlineWe have so much talent in the HOME community and so many new people joining. This is your chance to get connected!
What have you been working on? Bring whatever you've got and share it in a laid-back and friendly setting. It's a casual, come-as-you-are space where everyone is welcome. Share your music, talk about your process, and discover new collaborators.
If you lean more to the industry side of things, share some music from the artists that you represent. We'd love to hear what you're working with! If you would like to share, please have a link ready because we cannot stream files - links only. Or if you just want to say something or show off your studio, that is fine too!
This event will be led by HOME's A&R Team, a specially skilled committee who select Homies to participate in collaborative writing sessions and make music that is valuable for sync licensing.
Please join this event HERE. Due to protective measures, we've moved these meetups into our HOME community app. Once you click through to join us, you'll be asked to create your FREE Account in the HOME App to join the hang! See you soon!
