What we’re about
We're a group of women in the Northern Colorado area, living in Loveland, Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, etc. who like to read and meet up for fun.
We typically pick one book a month as our primary group read and share those events here on Meetup. We love to meet up at breweries, wineries, coffee shops, or really anywhere that can fit us. We're always trying to go somewhere new and explore our towns together.
We do a lot more outside of our events on Meetup, like skate nights, lake days, and plenty of discussions about what we're currently reading. Join our Discord to hang out with us online and get in the know about other events: https://discord.gg/2dQD6Q7r7S
The most important value of this group is respect and respecting one another. We are inclusive to all people and will not tolerate hate, bullying, or any disrespectful behavior. This is a safe place to have fun and talk about all of your theories in your favorite books. We're glad you're here!

Trigger warnings: rape, domestic abuse and animal deaths
Inti Flynn arrives in Scotland with her twin sister, Aggie, to lead a team of biologists tasked with reintroducing fourteen gray wolves into the remote Highlands. She hopes to heal not only the dying landscape, but Aggie, too, unmade by the terrible secrets that drove the sisters out of Alaska.
Inti is not the woman she once was, either, changed by the harm she’s witnessed—inflicted by humans on both the wild and each other. Yet as the wolves surprise everyone by thriving, Inti begins to let her guard down, even opening herself up to the possibility of love. But when a farmer is found dead, Inti knows where the town will lay blame. Unable to accept her wolves could be responsible, Inti makes a reckless decision to protect them. But if the wolves didn’t make the kill, then who did? And what will Inti do when the man she is falling for seems to be the prime suspect?
Propulsive and spell-binding, Charlotte McConaghy's Once There Were Wolves is the unforgettable story of a woman desperate to save the creatures she loves—if she isn’t consumed by a wild that was once her refuge.

She's a catwalk model who has everything: a boyfriend, a career, a loyal best friend. But when a sudden motor 'accident' leaves her disfigured and incapable of speech, she goes from being the beautiful centre of attention to being an invisible monster, so hideous that no one will acknowledge she exists.
Enter Brandy Alexander, Queen Supreme, one operation away from being a real woman, who will teach her that reinventing yourself means erasing your past and making up something better, and that salvation hides in the last place you'll ever want to look.
The narrator must exact revenge upon Evie, her best friend and fellow model; kidnap Manus, her two-timing ex-boyfriend; and hit the road with Brandy in search of a brand-new past, present and future.
