Welcome to the Northern Burbs active adults! We are a group who love to laugh, mingle, explore and support our community. We are a mixture of single and married adults who just want to have fun and enjoy ourselves in the company of like-minded folks. We are mostly over 40 but we are young at heart. Our activities are mostly in the North Denver (Thornton, Northglenn, Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville and Arvada) area although we have been known to catch a taco/margarita crawl, chalk festival, concert or Rockies game downtown. We get together weekly to support our local businesses and community establishments while building a tribe of friends. Do you like to explore local festivals, eat at new restaurants, listen to music and laugh ALOT? How about cheering on our local sports team, watching a talent show, or volunteering in our community? Steamboat Springs in the summer is as close to perfect as you can get. The air is crisp and clean, the flowers are in bloom and the city is full of fun activities.
Here are 20 things to do in my favorite Colorado town:

GETTING TO STEAMBOAT: If you would like to carpool we will meet at my place at 9:30am. Each person will pay the driver $20 each way.
After settling in for the night we will grab dinner, grab a karaoke bar and celebrate life.
WHERE WILL WE STAY: We will be staying at both the the Sheraton Steamboat Villas and the Steamboat Grand Hotel right in the center of ski town. You will find hiking trails, coffee shops and quaint shops just outside your door. The 2-bedroom suites each have 1 bedroom with a king and 1 with a queen bed. In addition, the room has a queen sofa bed. You can easily share a room and significantly reduce the cost. The rooms are equipped with a full kitchen for those late-night snacks.
MEALS: I will have a nightly happy hour scheduled where we can regroup and plan for dinner. Due to the size of the group we may need to decide on a couple of restaurants and dine in smaller groups. I will have an evening activity planned after dinner. Meals are at your expense.
Costs transportation, 3 nights hotel (varies by room), carpool and Strawberry Park entrance ($80):
