What we’re about
This group is open to all ages and aims to organise a variety of events that appeal to a wide range of interests. If you live in or near Nottingham and want to meet new friends and have some fun days and nights out then do join us. I can promise you will meet some great people, make new friends and enjoy yourself.
We have strong links with Nottingham Gig Buddies and Nottingham Culture & Café Scientifique, with whom we share many members; so why not join as many as you like and have a packed social calendar!
Check out our Frequently Asked Questions for new members page here for more details of how to join, and we look forward to seeing you at an event soon!

A mostly flat route with few stiles to climb over and a few small hills in the last couple of miles.
Heading out past the playing fields before doing a circuit of Dishley pond. We then follow the river soar for a couple of miles before cutting back across the fields into Hathern.
We will take a 30 minute break at the Dew Drop pub.
Then it’s back down the main road and onto Pear tree lane. We head through Baileys plantation, pear tree lane park and Rabbit wood before arriving back at the start point.

PARKING: There are several options. (see map)
*Derby road playing fields, a small free car park with a few spaces in mini laybys on the lane leading to it. This might be full due to the playing fields being used by local football teams.*The large layby alongside “Lisa’s diner”.
*There are 2 small parking areas on Leslie close and Francis drive. I HAVE NOT CHECKED if they are for residents only.
*There looks to be plenty of options for street parking on the estate where we start.
