What we’re about
Are you in your 20s or 30s and in/near the NW suburbs of Chicago? Gone are the days of commuting to the city to have fun with others in our age group! 🚫 We’ll plan a variety of fun meetups - from dinners to game nights, local events, festive activities, etc.
Group Rules & FAQs:
- You must be in your 20s or 30s to join. Others will be removed.
- “3 Strikes” Rule: Many events have waitlists. If you RSVP “yes” and can no longer attend, please change your RSVP AT LEAST 24 hours before the event. 3 strikes of last-minute cancellations or no-shows will result in removal from the group.
- If you are on the waitlist (or not on the list at all), please do not show up anyway. It is not fair to others on the list, and it will count as 1 strike.
- When someone changes their RSVP from "Going" to "Not Going", MeetUp will automatically move the first person from the waitlist to "Going." If you're on the waitlist, keep checking back to see if you made it in (it should notify you if you have notifications turned on).
- Do not attend an event if you are sick or are getting sick — please be considerate of others.
- Poor behavior will not be tolerated. We have a 0 tolerance policy for any type of bullying, discrimination, or harassment. If you experience anything that does not adhere to that, please report it directly to me (Lizzy) ASAP. Those who violate this policy will be removed from the group, with no exceptions.
