What we’re about
Welcome to O-Meditation Sangha Chicago! O-Meditation Sangha is a circle of friends in meditation. It is a group dedicated to exploring the teachings and practice of meditation from all of the Mystics, the ones in whom the greatest transformation has occurred, but especially the modern enlightened Master Osho.
Osho spent his whole life working to awaken as many individuals as possible through the practice of meditation. In addition to teaching the 112 ancient meditation techniques of the Vigyan Bhairava Tantra, Osho also devised new "active" meditation techniques designed specifically to overcome the complexities and busyness of the modern mind. But Osho has also said that the very core of meditation is witnessing.
Join us as we delve into Osho's teachings, gaining deep insights and practices for personal growth and self-discovery. Discover the transformational power of meditation and experience the bliss and clarity it brings to our lives. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced meditator, all are welcome to join our group and embark on a journey towards inner peace and fulfillment.
“There is only one meditation in the whole world and that is the art of witnessing. It will do everything – the whole transformation of your being. It will open the doors of satyam, shivam, sundram: the truth, the godliness and the beauty of it all.”
-From Satyam Shivam Sundram, Discourse #22.

O-Meditation Sangha is hosting an online Meditation Meeting on Zoom.
This week’s program is from Osho Tantra and the Secrets of Meditation: A Course in Witnessing.
A Course in Witnessing is a collection of 144 Meditation Programs arranged into 7 modules. Each program has two parts, Listening Meditation (Osho discourse) and Satsang Meditation. In addition to these two parts, our zoom meditation meetings include a third part, Dialog. The dialog is an opportunity for the participants to ask questions, comment or share.

In A Course in Witnessing we will be exploring, in depth, that fundamental teaching of Osho's, Witnessing. This teaching is a common thread that runs through Osho's discourses on The Upanishads, Shiva's Meditation Techniques, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Zen Sutras, and the numerous discourses that Osho gave on many of the world's spiritual traditions as well as questions asked by his friends and lovers.
