Hi - I'm Cat. Calling all ADDers - Adults with ADHD --> come on out to play! We'll play online board / card / word / creative games and socialize with like minds! ALong with chatting and hanging out with like minds. I've been running an online board game night group for two years now; and recently tried it with some other folks with ADHD and found it a blast. This is a group for adults, people with ADHD/ADDers, who want to play online games, connect with each other, and have fun/ hang out in a safe space with our tribe. While most games are competitive, I hope to foster an atmosphere of cooperation and friendship, rather than cut-throat I gotta win.
Playing games together can also help us learn to better handle emotional dysregulation, RSD, social isolation during the pandemic, and to build connections. Also to just plain have fun with folks who kinda "get" you! I've made this a private group, so that less info is shown in Meetup and members can only be seen by other members...based on Meetup's definition of private group.
The group is currently free, but at some point I may need to charge dues, to cover the monthly/annual cost if this grows and moves forward. TBD
