What we’re about

This group hosts regular meetups to play Blood on the Clocktower in Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Blood on the Clocktower is an enthralling social deduction game in which townsfolk attempt to execute a hidden demon before evil destroys their town. It has some unique features:

  • No elimination! Players continue to play even while dead.
  • Each player gets a unique and powerful character.
  • Drunkenness, Poisoning, and Madness cast doubt on players' information.
  • Each game presents a fascinating logic puzzle as players piece together their information (and misinformation).
  • The Storyteller role gives the moderator the power to create a challenging and fun experience each time.
  • More: https://bloodontheclocktower.com/

Our meetups are open to players of all levels. For new players, Storytellers will not only explain the rules but will also offer guidance as you learn the game. For experienced players, however, we have more than a few tricks up our sleeves. When we have a larger group, we split up into two games: one that allows beginner players to learn and explore, and another that gives more experienced players the opportunity to pull out all the stops.

For the organizers of this group, the community built around Blood on the Clocktower is what draws us to this game. Our goal is to create a regular space that fosters the growth of this community in Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Code of Conduct:

  1. Be respectful. This is a place for all sorts of people, but cruel people do not belong here. No slurs or hate speech. This does not mean, however, that "civility" will be tolerated as a cover for hatred.
  2. Be kind. The goal is for everyone to feel welcome. We do not tolerate harassment online or offline.
  3. Speak your mind. Your opinion is important even if you are not sure what you are doing. There is no "correct" way to play, so do whatever is fun.
  4. Do not come here if you are sick. Even just a little. Illness might not be a big deal for you, but for someone else it might be life-threatening.

If the organizers determine that an attendee is not following the code of conduct we will issue a temporary or permanent ban.
