Generously led by volunteer host, Marta Holt (a former transportation planner, and public transportation enthusiastl), we will travel to and from Lisboa entirely by public transit - including train, ferry, subway, tram and bus - and will see lots of wonderful things along the way. We will come home via a different route than we came, just so you can experience a few route options to and from Lisbon.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY
National Coach Museum (Museu Dos Coches) Home to one of the worldโs most remarkable collections of royal carriages, the museum offers visitors a glimpse into the splendor and elegance of European courts from the 17th to 19th centuries. The collection offers a unique window into the past, highlighting not only the technical innovation of carriage-making but also the cultural importance of these regal modes of transportation.
Petiscos Chineses for lunch (you pick, you pay). We have heard from OSC members that youโre missing authentic and excellent Chinese food, so here we go! Sounds like the dumplings are #1. Average price is 10 to 15โฌ per person. Check out the reviews: https://pt.restaurantguru.com/%E9%A3%9E%E9%B1%BCPetiscos-Chineses-Lisbon
