About Us: We are a Social Cycling Group for Adults run by Volunteers.
Our Mission:
To bring people together to have fun and make new friends while safely exploring Metro Vancouver and the surrounding areas. This includes some rides to Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and into Washington State..
Our rides range from urban and suburban to rural, on bike friendly roadways, dykes and trails and, from a few hours to all day. Rides are generally easy to moderate in difficulty and may run from 50 to 90 km.
Our goal is for participants to arrive at the end of a ride happy and satisfied with the outing and their ride leaders.
Code of Conduct:
Our cycling group is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. We expect all participants to conduct themselves with integrity, kindness, and respect towards others during rides or events run by this group. Members should adhere to all traffic laws, ride safely, and support fellow cyclists, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued.
Bullying, harassment, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, physical intimidation, and any form of discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic. Any member found engaging in such behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from the group. By participating in our rides, all members agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a positive and supportive cycling community.

Bike Ride - Fraser Foreshore / Arbutus Ridge / False Creek Loop

This is a loop ride with 56 Km of paved bikeways/roads and 2.5 km of hard-packed trails. The route runs west along the Fraser River to Compton St, then zigzags up to 37th, then west again across Arbutus Ridge to UBC, where we stop for lunch. From there, we head over to Kitsilano, along False Creek to BC Parkway BC Parkway, the Southridge Urban Trail and the Byrne Creek Urban Trail back to the start point. The coffee stop will be at Breka Bakery, Main & 30th.Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.

This route has approximately 47.1 km of paved surface and 3.7 km of hard-packed trails. From Central Park, we head south and west across Burnaby and Vancouver to Richmond Island and the Milltown Pub, where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we head north and east thru Vancouver past Riley Park, then south and east thru John Hendry Park to 45th Ave Bikeway and back to Central Park.
Difficulty: Moderate/Hard if you have been biking regularly. There are several hilly sections.
Distance: 51.7 km
Estimated Ride Time: 5.5 hrs
Bring: snacks//water and pack a Lunch or buy something at Milltown.

This is a circle route on trails, paved bike paths, and shared roads. From our starting point, we follow the PoCo Trail east around Minnekhada and on to LaFarge Lake Park, where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we head west to Port Moody and Rocky Point Park, where we'll take a short break, maybe ice cream, before heading back to the PoCo Trail and the Gillnetter Pub.Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.
Distance: 52.8 km.
Estimated Ride Time: 5 Hrs
Bring: snacks/water and pack a lunch. We will stop for lunch at Lafarge Lake Park.

This is a loop ride with approximately 55.5 km of roadways and 7.5 km of hard-packed trails. From our starting point, we head south and east, on country roadways, across Langley Township to the Bradner General Store, where we stop for coffee. We then head north to Poplar Bar on the Fraser River, where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we head west to Fort Langley and onto the Fort to Fort Trail to 208 St., then South back to our start point.
Difficulty: Moderate / Hard if you have been biking regularly. There are some hills.
Distance: 63.8 km
Estimated Ride Time: 5.5 hr.
Bring: snacks, water and pack a Lunch or buy something at Bradner General Store. There are no food facilities near Poplar Bar.
Meet Up Location: Walnut Grove Community Park, behind Walnut Grove Secondary School, 8919 Walnut Grove Drive, Langley.
