About Us: We are a Social Cycling Group for Adults run by Volunteers.
Our Mission:
To bring people together to have fun and make new friends while safely exploring Metro Vancouver and the surrounding areas. This includes some rides to Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and into Washington State..
Our rides range from urban and suburban to rural, on bike friendly roadways, dykes and trails and, from a few hours to all day. Rides are generally easy to moderate in difficulty and may run from 50 to 90 km.
Our goal is for participants to arrive at the end of a ride happy and satisfied with the outing and their ride leaders.
Code of Conduct:
Our cycling group is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. We expect all participants to conduct themselves with integrity, kindness, and respect towards others during rides or events run by this group. Members should adhere to all traffic laws, ride safely, and support fellow cyclists, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and valued.
Bullying, harassment, and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal abuse, physical intimidation, and any form of discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic. Any member found engaging in such behavior will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from the group. By participating in our rides, all members agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a positive and supportive cycling community.

This is a loop ride exploring the dykes, trails and suburbs of Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. The route is approximately 38 km of paved roads and bikeways and 17.3 km of hard-packed trails.
Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.
Distance: 55.3 km
**Estimated Ride Time:** 5 hr.
Bring: snacks/water and PACK A LUNCH. We will stop for lunch at The Patch Brewery.

From our start point the route heads west across Burnaby and South Vancouver to the Arbutus Greenway, then north to 41st where we stop for coffee at Honolulu Coffee. We continue north on bike-friendly streets to The Burrard St. Bridge then around False Creek to Granville Island where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we continue west along False Creek to Burrard then east on 7th to Ontario, west on 14th, south on Heather and east again on 37th and 45th to Central Park where we connect with BC Parkway and the Byrne Creek Urban Trail back to our start point.
Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly.
Distance: 57.6 km

This ride is in the reverse direction to our normal route and has approximately 60 km on paved surfaces and 3 km of trails. From Redwood Park, we head north thru Brookswood and Hopington to J D Turkey Farms where we stop for lunch. After lunch, we head south to 0 Ave then west thru Campbell Valley Regional Park and back to Redwood Park.
Difficulty: Moderate if you have been biking regularly. Expect some hills.
Distance: 63.5 km.
Expected Duration: 5.5 hrs.

This loop ride with approx. 51 km on paved roadway and 7 km on hard-packed trail. The route takes us from Deas Island Park thru Ladner and Tsawwassen to the Point Roberts Border Crossing. Once thru the border, we loop around Point Roberts to the Saltwater Cafe where we stop for lunch. After lunch we continue around Point Roberts, back across the border, thru Boundary Bay Park and Beach Grove onto the dyke and back home via 64th.NOTE: You will need a Nexus Card or Passport for this ride.
Difficulty: Moderate / Hard if you have been biking regularly. There are 3 short but steep hills on this route. See the GPS route guide for details. Distance: 58.2 kmExpected Duration: 5.5 hrsBring: snacks and water. NO FRUIT. Pack a Lunch or buy there. (Lunch options may be limited).
