Come bring your crafts and hang out!
Is there a theme?
Sometimes!
We will share optional theme ideas before and during each meetup to spark creativity, but all crafts are welcome.
Do I need to be crafty?
Not at all!
You can show up and feel confident that, no matter your skill level, you can still make something fun with the materials we will have on hand.
Do you provide crafts?
Yes!
We will have collage materials like paper, glue, scissors, and magazines ready to go. You're also welcome to bring your own craft project, if you prefer.
We will also provide reusable name tags and an inclusive, welcoming space to craft and connect.
Will there be food and drinks?
We don't provide food or drinks. Everyone can bring their own snacks and beverages. (BYOS)
What do people usually make?
Folks usually bring small, travel-friendly projects like knitting, crochet, watercolors, coloring books, embroidery, hand sewing, etc.
Anything that is portable and easy to setup outdoors works great.

I’m excited to announce we are having a Queer Dating Mixer!

Monogamous and Polyamorous daters are all invited. We will have wrist bands to identify dating preferences, and pride flag name tags to identify orientation.

This will be a fabulous night with cute queers, games, food, and fun! (Halloween costumes are optional) At the end of the night you will have the option to give me a notecard with the name of the person/people you connected with. If they give me your name too, I’ll help you exchange numbers for a date!

The venue will be the wonderful Back to Nature Bistro. The Bistro entrance is located next to Family Dollar at 1813 Kissingbower Rd or you can go through the Garden Center at 1815 Kissingbower Rd.

As we are getting this venue at no cost, it is recommended that you purchase one food item at least. There are 2 dollar sodas and inexpensive snacks along with a variety of delicious and affordable food items.

Spoken Woods is a collaboration with the poet and music communities of Augusta along with Back to Nature Garden Center. This is a free event where anyone can come and present their own work, read a poem or passage they like, or just enjoy others’ works.
