We love hiking, kayaking/canoeing, camping/backpacking, walking/racing, bicycling, etc. We are only allowed to pick 15 tags, but if it has to do with the outdoors, there's probably someone in this group who'd like to join you.
… and, of course, there's often food involved 😜

Duck River + Campout at Henry Horton = Summer! Lets go kayaking on the Duck river for 5 miles with the River Rat outfitter and camping with a campfire at Henry Horton State Park. Arrive Friday night for camping, campfire, and smores. Saturday we kayak the Duck river gentle current is a relaxing ride down the Duck. We will use the river rate outfitter. I have two camp sites reserved so I have spots for 3 tents. The site #16 (me and Adam can share with 1 tent (split the fee each $50 for the weekend). The other site is #34 it can be shared with two tents. These are RV sites so they have electricity. The split fee for one of my sites is $50 for the weekend. Please send the sit split fee to me via venmo @deefirrone or cashapp $deefirrone. You can bring your RV or get a solo site at the Henry Horton State Park. I can't stress enough how important it is to reserve now. This a very popular park and will sell out. If you even think you want to go, grab a site now. You can always cancel it if you can't come or let someone take it over.
We will use river rat outfitter. You can bring your own boat and launch with a shuttle service for $20. If you need to rent a kayak that is $35 with launch and shuttle service. They are a small operation so reserve you boat/shuttle now! www.riverratcanoe.comWe will pot luck Saturday night so bring your own main dish/protein and a side to share. We will campfire at site #16. Please bring some firewood to share.
