Join us for our 40s+ After Work Party at the upscale Empire Rooftop overlooking Lincoln Center! Our staff will be on hand to welcome you and get you socializing in meaningful ways. We expect up to 100 fun NYSN members and friends ages 40s+ from several different social groups for this great way to connect.
What to expect:- We will have ice breakers that will connect you with others.

Speed dating is a fun low pressure way to meet eligible singles. After a few short dates you can mingle with even more singles at the mixer with dozens more singles.This event is for Singles in their 30s

We will be in a private area exclusively for our event. You will have a few minutes to chat with your dates and rotate until you've met everyone in your group. You will register the names of those you are interested in and then join a mixer with dozens more singles

We will be consistent with NYC Restaurant Guidelines, and as such, vaccines are not required. Masks are optional
If the ages listed for the event are ages THIS and I am age THAT, can I still attend?
Please respect the ages in the description. The hosts have the right to check your ID, and that can lead to an embarrassing situation. If you are not in the age group listed, you are welcome to arrive at 8pm and pay $25 cash at the door to join the mixer.

Whether you’re new to the group or have been a member for a long time, this is always a great night of socializing, mixing and mingling in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. You’ll also get a preview of what we have planned for 2025!
How it works:- When you arrive our NYSN staff will be on hand to welcome you and introduce you to others.

- We will have several structured fun activities that are designed to get you to mix and mingle with as many people at the party as possible.

You don’t need any special skills for our Mystery and History Hunt! This activity is designed for making friends, learning a little history and finding out things about Grand Central that you never knew before.
How it works:
-Registration is at 7pm, we will put you on teams if you don’t already have one. 99% of those attending will not have a team. Please don’t be late.
-Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head inside Grand Central to try and solve the mystery.
-The team with the most points wins!
-Once everyone is back, we’ll socialize, eat and drink at one of the food places where you can share your experiences with the others while we tally up the scores!
The Story:
Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You’d probably know her if you’ve been out before. She is very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately, Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need your help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of this NYC landmark in ways you never have before! If you have participated in our other Grand Central hunts, no worries as this is a completely different experience. You will learn, discover, uncover and socialize with other fun members of our group before, during and after the hunt! No experience is necessary!
Recommended ages: 21+. The main demographic will be 30s and 40s but there will be many 20s and even 50s so those folks will feel right at home.
