Whether you're recently out of a long-term relationship, newer to dating, or simply looking to sharpen your communication skills and meet others in a no-pressure environment, this event is designed to help you begin to reconnect—with others and with yourself. The key: sharing your own story and showing up.

This online event will preview how we’ll explore practical tools for showing up with clarity and self-respect, some of the common pitfalls around vulnerability, boundaries, attraction, and consent, and create space to share stories and encouragement. Long-term participants in the 6-week coaching will leave with real strategies—not pick-up lines—for navigating dating in ways that are honest, respectful, and aligned with your values.

This preview event is designed to show you how you can expect warm conversation, light social challenges, and the kind of supportive atmosphere where growth feels possible, not painful.

Whether you’re shy, curious, awkward, or simply ready to feel more grounded in who you are, Confident Connections offers a refreshing alternative to the world of swipes and AI-written scripts.

## The Night

We’re bringing Oxford something completely unique: a pub crawl AND a club night, all in one ticket.

• Kick things off at The Bullingdon at 8:00 PM with a free welcome shot and your pub crawl wristband.
• Grab your gang or create one as you venture Cowley Road exploring our carefully curated pub lists. Indulge yourself in quirky challenges creating memories that will last for a lifetime. Be bold, grab yourself a drink and may the group with the most original/entertaining reactions wins a prize at the Bullingdon.
• At 11:00 PM, the dance floor opens and the real party begins with the launch of Club 22 — our new nightlife experience for Oxford.
• Dance until 3:00 AM to a DJ-powered setlist built to keep the energy high and the vibes right.

Beers, Brains, Glory: Create Your Oxford Legacy

Every week, teams battle it out for glory, Polaroid fame on the Winners’ Wall, and the chance to win big bar tab prizes at the end of the season.

• In-Season (Term Time): Compete across 8 weeks. Points accumulate across the weeks. Season champions take home the £300 bar tab.
• Out-of-Season: When the League rests, the fun continues! Weekly winners score a £50 bar tab for their team.

Come hungry — The Cape’s food (with discounts during the event!) is front and centre, with pub classics and sharing plates to fuel your brainpower. Expect clever questions, fun challenges, and interactive games that keep the whole pub laughing.

Form your squad in advance (and add them to your RSVP list!) or join one on the night. All are welcome — students, locals, quiz pros, or first-timers.

• The Quiz League Format → 3 seasons a year, over 8-week terms. A team (whose members can vary) must attend 6 out of 8 weeks in the season to qualify for the grand prize.
• The Big Prize → £300 bar tab for the overall season champions. The team's best 6 performances during the season are added up to crown the overall winner!
• Out-of-Season Weekly Prizes → £50 bar tab for the winning team.
