What we’re about
We provide an opportunity for people of Oxford and the surrounding areas to meet face to face, become part of a local social group offering friendship, and a safe environment to socialise and make friends.
Join up now to take part in a range of activities open to everyone in and around the city.
There are no restrictions on who can join any age, profession or country of origin is welcome. If you want to meet some new people, this is the group for you. There are always new members at each event and you will find everyone who attends welcoming and friendly.
Members are asked to follow the meetup usage and content policies. By joining the group you agree to follow this code and accept that the organisers reserve the right to remove members from the group who they do not consider to be following the code.
It costs £400 per year to maintain our membership with Meetup.com. To help cover this cost, we ask members for a small contribution of £2 every six months to support the running of the group and the website.
All money received goes directly toward keeping the group active and sustainable.
New members are welcome to enjoy a one-month free trial, after which we kindly ask that you either pay the £2 subscription fee or exit the group if it’s not the right fit for you. This helps us keep the group active and manageable.
