What we’re about
This is a 50+ hiking group for people who enjoy hiking at a more leisurely yet steady pace - 1.5 to 2.5mph. Hikes will mostly be between 4-10 miles round trip with elevation gains between 1500 to 4000. The difficulty level based on All Trails will typically be Moderate or Difficult. We may be slow(er) but we are mighty!
Hikes I organize will be on the weekends as I am still working. Other group members may choose to organize hikes on weekdays.

From All Trails:
Head out on this 5.7-mile out-and-back trail near North Bend, Washington. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are February through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This is a steep and challenging trail to a beautiful waterfall. The trail is very steep and rocky towards the end, sturdy footwear and trekking poles are recommended. The best time to visit the falls is during the spring or after heavy rain when the falls are flowing the strongest. Snow and ice is common on the trail in the winter.https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/washington/teneriffe-falls
Depending on trail conditions, micro spikes may be needed. I'll update closer to the date.
