Take our Safety Class while it's hot!

We base this course on the 20 years of on-the-water realities faced by our ACA Certified L2 guides. It aims to get anyone comfortable and in control of a kayak and familiar with the proper safety gear needed. We explore launch safety, wind, weather and water conditions, balance on/in craft, basic strokes, navigation, and United States Coast Guard regulations.
On the water, we will practice wet exits, partner rescues, and self rescues using both American Canoe Association and British Canoe life-saving techniques.

This is a combination course taking the most practical curriculum from our Introduction to Kayaking and Saftey and Rescue Class. Each of these courses are $75 regularly. This is the best of both worlds!
