The Social Scene Northern New Jersey Events - Ages 20s - 40s

Join us for Joe trivia! There will be general knowledge questions and many different other trivia questions!

We will meet at Five Dimes Brewery in Westwood, NJ.

You will need to bring your own food to the brewery as the brewery does not serve food.

Five Dimes Brewery is a BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) location. There are a variety of local restaurants to order from if you desire.

The Book Club is a monthly discussion group which focuses on exploring different literary works through insightful conversation! We meet at the cafe at Barnes and Noble in Paramus, NJ.

This is an open choice group, where people can bring a book to discuss and then there will be general questions about the book.

In addition, we will have topics unrelated to the book! The questions of the month are as follows:

1. Would you say you're more like your brother or your sister (if you have siblings) Why?
2. What are some of your travel goals for November (if any)?
3. What's your favorite vegetable?

The cafe sells an assortment of food items including baked goods as well as cold beverages, and coffee.

Join us as we play pickleball on a Sunday afternoon! This event will surely be a fun one, and it’s also good exercise!

This event is for beginners. Please bring your own paddle board and balls.

Bring water if you want to stay hydrated and snacks in case you get hungry.

Please be aware that since I am not able to reserve a court(s) in advance, we might have to wait for a court(s) to become available.

We will meet at the pickleball courts, which are across the street from the Overpeck Park Amphitheater.

Restrooms are available across the street from the Pickleball Courts.

Join us on a Friday night for silent reading!

This silent book club for adults is a gathering where members meet, bring their own book to read, and then enjoy an hour of quiet, sustained reading in companionable silence and if you would like, enjoy a meal. After the silent reading period, there's an optional chance to socialize and discuss the books they were reading, making it a low-pressure way to connect with other readers, find community, and enjoy dedicated reading time.
