What we’re about

Hello, moms, dads, and caregivers living in Catonsville, Ellicott City and Columbia. Are you new to the area? Just had a baby? Need pint-sized playmates for your preschoolers? PATH (Parents At Home) is a parents’ group that organizes social functions for kid play and adult conversation. Our group is a welcoming and inclusive community where you and your children can find fun and friendship. Want to know more? Request to join now! If you decide to join PATH, we charge a $35 yearly fee which funds our socials and activities.
Perks of PATH are: Maternity Closet: We keep a few bins of Maternity clothes that members are free to borrow from whenever they need.
Meal Assistance Program: This originated as a way to help moms with newborns, but has evolved to accommodate any transition such as a move, an illness, or a family tragedy. We arrange for meals to be brought to you by different members for up to a week.
Organized Events: We have socials every month that include a craft and snack, playground and library playdates, visits to nature centers, and stroller walks/nature hikes. We also have outings to places such as the Baltimore Zoo, National Aquarium, Port Discovery, and Science Center.
Personal Playdates: Small playgroups held in peoples homes to provide adults some conversation and kids with some play time. We often have themes, such as crafts, recipe swaps, or toy swaps.
Adult Only Outings: We all need a parent's night out sometimes and we have those too! We frequently meet at restaurants, have game nights, and have a yearly holiday party!
Hands-Me-Downs!: Everyone is always willing to pass on clothes, shoes, toys, and child items when they are no longer needed.
PATH facebook page: A great place to post "Hey, I’m headed to this park in 10 minutes if anyone else wants to come" or "Can you recommend a good dentist?" and even, "Does anyone have a good plumber they trust?"
First Friendships for your child: Your child gets to play and interact with a great group of kids, form friendships, and learn to socialize. Insider Information: What are the best parks? What grocery stores have the best produce? What library has the best activities? These and many more questions are frequently discussed.
