What we’re about
We started this group in order to provide photography instruction and workshops dedicated to improving both your SOOC (straight out of the camera) images and your post-processing. We are very active in the photographic community and enjoy helping others find the joy and satisfaction in taking and making photographs with impact. All cameras are welcome. We have people come with mobile photos, dSLRs, mirrorless, point&shoot, film cameras, etc. We are excited to have an opportunity to inspire you with their "Creativity is contagious, pass it on" philosophy and their “Don’t shoot what it looks like, shoot what it feels like” approach. We have published two books with Amherst Media. The first called “Create Fine Art Photographs from Historic Places and Rusty Things” is about our HDR and light painted images; it can be ordered from Amazon http://tinyurl.com/lisatom-urbex and is also available at brick and mortar bookstores like Barnes and Noble. Our second book, one year later, is called “The Frog Whisperer” http://tinyurl.com/lisatom-frogs
