What we’re about
Piccadilly Ski Club is a Chicago non-profit skiing, snowboarding and activity club based in the Chicago western suburbs. We are a friendly and adventurous group and like to keep active, socialize and travel. We welcome single people and couples to join us. Ages in our club range from 30 to 70, very active adults. Piccadilly members reside in the Downers Grove and surrounding areas, even as far away as South Carolina, Arkansas and Florida.
Since we plan events all year round, there are many opportunities to meet and make new friends through a wide variety of activities, such as skiing, golf, biking, social gatherings, and trips. In our 50+ year history, Piccadilly has planned hundreds of events locally, and traveled the globe extensively. We've taken ski trips throughout the US and Canada, as well as Europe and New Zealand. Non-ski adventures in our club’s travel history have taken us to Antigua, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Finger Lakes NY, Jamaica, Key West, Mexico, Nashville and New Orleans. Join us today to make new friends and go on your next great adventure.
Club Meetings start at 7:00pm on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays from August thru April; and during the summer months we meet the first Thursday in May, June & July at Miller's Ale House, 455 E Butterfield Road in Lombard, Illinois.

See all- Happy Hour, Lazy Dog Restaurant and BarLazy Dog Restauraunt and Bar, Oak Brook, IL
It’s time for another one of Piccadilly’s Happy Hours! This time it’s a new location - The Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar - serving handcrafted American food and drink with seasonally inspired ingredients. 1775 W. 22nd Street in Oak Brook. Influenced by the lifestyle of the Rocky Mountains where Founder Chris Simms spent time with family growing up, Lazy Dog offers a full bar that includes unique and approachable specialty cocktails and a wide selection of craft beers. There will also be 2 NFL Divisional playoff games that day. Times and teams yet TBD They have 2 TVs on the patio.
Our club stopped into Lazy Dog previously, (after the Halloween Scary stories at Mayslake a few months ago) and had some great reviews.
We have reservations for the Patio, which will be in the outside enclosure with a huge fireplace to add to the ambience. The manager says, “it gets toasty out there, even if it’s 20 degrees”. It sounds like their heaters will be cranking for us. Plus, the TVs will provide us an opportunity to keep abreast of our favorite playoff team. It doesn’t get much better than this!
Piccadillians can even bring their dog on a leash (not allowed on your lap). There will be a “Cutie Pie Dog contest” and winner will get a prize! There are dog meals available for purchase - 2 different meals for 5$ each - for your furry best friend. Let’s get a great turnout and fill the Patio! Come join your PSC friends for an early afternoon of socializing, football and watching the fire.
