A lot of what takes place at PIE (https://piepdx.com) happens behind closed doors. That said, we really want to be sure that the Portland startup community is always engaged, informed, and connected to our on going experiment and the amazing startups with whom we get to work.
Please join us if you're interested in getting more connected to PIE, its mentors, and its family of startups. And helping us celebrate the Portland startup community.
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, please assume that all PIE community gatherings are family friendly. So feel free to bring family members of all ages along with you, especially if that makes it easier for you to attend.
Remember that amazing founder you saw on stage a few years ago? Where are they now? We want you to know.
That's why Built Oregon, Latino Founders, Pitch Black, Pitch Latino, PIE, and Vanport Studio are partnering to celebrate women founders from our programs by learning more about the journeys of our alums since we last saw them on stage — even if that journey no longer involves startups.
As a woman it can often feels like you're never in a single place — or a single role. This came into sharp relief during a recent event as Paige Hendrix Buckner reflected on her past as a grade school teacher sharing that no matter where she is, Paige — the teacher — is always there.
We're looking forward to sharing similar perspectives from women founders in our midst — discussing not only where they are now but who they are now.
Join us for an evening of fireside chats hosted by PIE mentor and community organizer Cami Kaos as we all get up to date on the latest and greatest from founders in our community.
