What we’re about
Thank you for stopping by!
Pine Point Ski and Snowboard Club is an athletic, recreational and social winter sports club of about 200 members. We love to stay active all year round and have a lot of fun along the way!
We schedule several Western ski trips annually as well as a number of local Midwestern getaways. Although skiing and snowboarding (yes we do have snowboarders in the club) is our main mission, we offer a year-round schedule of activities. Annual favorites include a Kettle Moraine Camping & Biking trip, White Elephant Gift Exchange Party, Memorial Day Grill & Bike, picnics and impromptu festival outings.
What makes us special? To start off, the loyalty of our members allowed us to not only survive but thrive during rough pandemic times, with safety of our members being on the forefront of everything that we do. One of our strong suits is the international member base, including member representation from all 5 continents! Our skiers and snowboarders are at all levels: racers, mogul monsters, cruisers, terrain park masters, and raw beginners. If you have never been on the snow before - we are excited to guide you through this amazing experience.
We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month @ Green Eye Lounge (Chicago) from October to May. Come check us out and learn about this season's trips! Visit our website for more information: https://www.pinepointskiclub.com/

LIFT TICKETS
TRIP PRICING IS EXCLUSIVE OF LIFT TICKETS
Copper Mountain is an IKON PASS resort, so if you already have an IKON pass you are all set. Multi-resort passes can save you money when you use it enough. For example, the Pine Point trip to Boyne MI in Feb and our March trip to Mammoth Mountain will allow you to use your IKON pass again, getting more skiing for the same price.
If you are considering an IKON Pass purchase, there is still time. Go to: ikonpass.com/en/shop-passes
If you don’t have IKON, you will need to order your lift tickets and add the following costs to the price of your trip. I encourage you to order online as soon as you sign up for the trip. You will still need to pick up your tickets at the window and sign a waiver once we get there. They offer pass protection in the purchase process. You can't get any refunds, transfers or credits without adding the additional $25 pass protection charge. Like most other resorts lift tickets/passes are now on an RFID card exclusive to that resort. They call theirs the Copper Card and you have to include one when you order.

PHOTOS FOR CLUB TRIPS ARE NOT INCLUDED AS PART OF THE CONTEST
Clue for picture of photo contest event description: The sign shows a run which coincidentally is the nickname of one of our Club Officers. They weren't there but what is the name of this ski resort?
A little bit of sleuthing would go a long way. Hint: if you go back and look at past events/old Pine Point trips, the same pictures may be used or ones like it. You may find the name of the resort that way. Also Googling the name of a ski run when named, may give you the name of a resort. Hint: the pictured resort of the photo contest is in CO and the name ends with the letters GE.
Pine Point Board members/Officers are excluded.
If you know the answers keep them to yourself. No helping/coaching anyone else.
I took all of these pictures and will judge the entries. A demonstrated knowledge of persons names in the picture or familiarity of location can be helpful.
There are 9 total photos, including the one for this event.
The others are on the 8 monthly club meetings and the Season Kick Off party is one of those 8.
Look at the pictures on each of the events and decide where you think they were taken. The name of the resort is the answer for submission.Send entries to Pine Point Ski and Snowboard Club email address:
pinepointskiclub@yahoo.com. Entries can be submitted until contest ends 04-01-25.If an entry is a winner, notification will immediately be given and then awarded when signed up for a Club trip if not already signed up.
