Podcast Club in Munich

Update as of 11 October 2025: Thank you for signing up. The small hiatus turns out to be bigger than I previously thought. Life throws challenges at us, and I am no exception. Who knows what it has planned for me, my curiosity awaits.

Podcast lovers, this group is created for you.

Similar to a book club, instead of discussing a book that we have read, we meet once to twice a month to exchange opinions on pre-selected podcast episodes. To listen to say, a two-hour podcast episode, is less time-intensive and realistically more achievable than reading/listening to a (an audio) book. This is sometimes more encouraging than losing the momentum of reading a book due to different reasons and not finishing it as a result. Having said that, it is absolutely not meant to undermine the beauty and wonderous benefits reading a book will bring us. I might even organise a joint podcast/book club once in a while, because it is common for authors to promote their books in podcasts, either through their own channel or being a guest to other podcasters.

Podcasts can be entertaining, soothing, motivating, inspiring, uplifting, thought-provoking and even life-changing. After listening to a preselected episode in our own time, we meet to discuss the impact, or lack of, it has on us.

Perhaps, this can be a journey for us to hold each other accountable for the goals we set personally for ourselves.
