From the book “Portland Stair Walks” by Laura Foster. This is a 6.5 mile loop with 500' elevation change. Enjoy 11 flights of stairs and the beautiful Alameda neighborhood.
Meet at 1907 NE Skidmore St, the Sabin HydroPark and Community Garden.
Beautiful homes, many staircases, sidewalks.

4.7 mile out-and-back from the Holman Lane trailhead next to 3509 NW Raleigh St up to the Pittock Mansion. Lots of uphill climbing (833 feet)

Adapted from “Portland Stair Walks” by Laura O. Foster: Hilly loop walk up to Council Crest Park and back from the Hillsdale Library in SW Portland. About 550' elevation over 5.2 miles. Neighborhood streets, trails in a mini-forest, and stairs.
