What we’re about
Join me for free Qi Gong at Irving Park every Saturday at 10am May-September. This Qi Gong is taken from the Tai Shing Pekwar system of Kung Fu. Build vital Qi, strength, and flexibility. Learn to develop your center, focus your mind, and cultivate your heart.
My hope is to find a small to medium group of people who want to dive pretty deeply into a chi gong practice, delve into the traditional mysticism of taoism, and learn the modern, scientifically explained principles of the meridian system.
The practices will be:
Stance training
Filling the Dan Tian
Harmonizing the 3 Dan Tian
Spinal clearing
Tendon Changing exercises
Deep Stretching
I have been practicing this Qi Gong for 21 years. For the last 6 years I have been teaching a small group of people more or less privately. At this point I feel like I have developed a deep enough understanding to share this practice in meaningful way. I'm looking forward to meeting some interested students.
Classes are all drop in. You won't miss anything be missing the beginning. It is more of a perpetual practice of the basics. I will take any individual as far as they want to go.

Learn to deeply rest and restore the most vital aspect of your energy systems. Shakti is the energy that rises from your root chakra to activate and stimulate all of your mental, emotional, and physical activities. When this happens correctly your feel calm, focused, and energized to participate in all aspects of your life.
For most people today, letting shakti rest and restore itself is the missing part of having deep energetic balance. Signs that your Shakti needs to rest are - constant obsessive thinking, always feeling emotionally overstimulated, feeling restless and anxious in your body, low quality sleep, and chronic aching pain in the body.
In this meditation intensive I will teach you how to let your shakti settle back to your root chakra where it can rest and rebalance. I will give step by step instructions and guided meditations to help you learn this fundamental meditation skill.
This intensive will be every week night of October (no weekends) for a total of 22 classes. Live on Zoom at 8pm.

Class is cancelled for October. I am teaching my month long meditation class online. Check Cenderedeveryday.com for info.
YIN YOGA is the practice of holding stretches for 5 minutes at a time. This allows time for your fascia to effectively stretch and calms the nervous system. Yin Yoga is the most effective way to gain flexibility, reduce pain, improve sleep, and clear stagnant chi.
Each class will consist of 60 minutes of poses and 20 minutes of guided meditation.
