Dear ladies,
Let’s visit the park and castle in Průhonice.
What you can expect:
· Gallery in the ground floor of the Průhonice castle
· 5+ km walk through a park designed by earl Silva-Tarouca in the late 19th century with many wonderful views and special trees and bushes from various parts of the world
· Botanic garden with (hopefully) flowering irises and other flowers
· Coffee and snack in the castle café
· Picnic in the park (optional)
We may stop somewhere in the park for a lunch picnic so you may like to bring some food and drink with you. Except the castle café in the start of our walk there are no other restaurants.
The Průhonice park is quite large so we can take a route as long as we like – could be just 5 km or also 10 km or more.
Travel information:
We will meet at the metro station Opatov at the platform level and will go then by the bus 385 to the stop Průhonice. From there the Průhonice castle is about 10 minutes walk.
You can buy the bus tickets in the bus from the driver.
Travel back will be from the stop Průhonice again to metro station Opatov or Háje. Bus goes every 10 to 15 minutes.
Please note that the end time given in the Meetup schedule is just estimate. We may decide for a shorter or longer walk.
Costs:
Overall cost for the bus and the park entrance fee (includes the castle exhibition) are approx 200 CZK.
Event fee is up to you, any contribution to cover the meetup costs or organizational effort are welcome.
Note:
In case of a bad weather, especially rain, the event will be rescheduled to more suitable day.
