What we’re about

Calling all Meeples!

What is a Meeple? A Meeple is a person shaped wooden component seen in a variety of board games. Just like the meeple, at Princeton Meeple Society, we play a wide array of tabletop games; everything from Agricola to Zombie Dice! So join us Friday nights at 7:00pm ET to play old favorites and find some new ones too!

Welcome to the Princeton Meeple Society! Here's our rules:

NOTE: To get accepted by our group it is necessary to have a profile picture of your face and your preferred name as your name.

1. When board games are being taught & played be attentive.

This means do not be on your phone or otherwise distracted while people are explaining rules. Pay attention to what other players are doing on their turns.

2. Respect People and their boundaries

Respect personal space, listen and don't interrupt while others are talking, ask before you riffle shuffle, if you see a game you want to play ask the owner of the game before taking it, be gentle with components and treat others with respect.

3. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment

We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment in this group. Also if you are sick or in a bad headspace stay home and take care of yourself!

We have a strict no guest policy. Feel free to send your friend/SO/coworker a link to our meetup and remind them to include their first name and picture of themselves to get approved. We do this to confirm we are creating a positive environment and keep tabs on who is and who is not coming to game nights.

4. Respect our Meeting Spaces

If you make a mess, alert the staff or clean it up yourself. Respect the employees and other patrons, and leave on time.

5. Two Visits and you're locked in!

After you attend two of our meetups we will ask you pay $10 for a membership fee for the year. This will allow you to continue attending and join our exclusive discord server packed with special events, virtual hangouts, and cool meeples! Also -complimentary keychain! - No refunds so follow our rules and be nice.
