What we’re about

Please browse our members' Buy/Sell/Trade games list and add your own!

This is a group for all of you who play board games as much for the people as for the pieces. For everyone who loves Settlers of Catan, Power Grid, Red Dragon Inn, MTG, and all of those fantastic games more than they enjoy arguing about the rules or beating everybody they know.
Every town needs a good group of people who play good games on the regular. This is an open invite group that welcomes every game and every player, from the seasoned veterans of the Gygax days to the fresh rookies taking their first steps beyond Monopoly. It a place for regular, after work Euro games, strategy games, card games and all the rest. If you have a game you love and want some people to play, or want to relax and learn something new at the end of the day, this is your group.

Anti-harassment policy
Princeton Board Games on the Casual is dedicated to providing a safe experience for everyone, regardless of sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. As part of this commitment we consider it important to address behaviors which involve treating other attendees with a lack of respect, including physical, verbal, emotional harassment and sexual assault.
Some examples of harassment include:
Offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion; Deliberate intimidation; Stalking or unwanted following of persons; Harassing photography or unwanted recording of persons on devices; Inappropriate physical contact; Unwelcome attention, including sexual remarks, jokes, leering, or unwanted messages.
Please note this list is not exhaustive. We understand that some behaviors which make an attendee feel harassed may not have occurred with malicious intent, and in some cases may have taken place unintentionally. However, once participants have been told that their behaviour is harassment or unwanted they are expected to stop immediately.
If you are being harassed by a group member or group event, we would appreciate if you could report it to the meetup organizers, Sean or Jess.  We will take details of the harassment and work with you to respond to the issue in a way that assists you in feeling safe and maintains the safety of the wider environment, as well as enforcing our anti-harassment policy. We also support you in speaking about steps that can be taken to help you feel safer both immediately and in the longer term.  In more severe cases, in order to protect the community we may need to ask the harasser to leave the group. We will inform any person what steps we have taken, if any, as a result of their report.
