What we’re about

Events include interactive activities related to product management, talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.
We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.

See all- Navigating Burnout: Personal Insights and Practical StrategiesTwo Frays Brewery Garfield, Pittsburgh, PA
The New Year is a perfect time to reflect, set fresh goals, and dream big for the year ahead. But let’s be real - life in Product can be tough. In fact, Mind the Product ran a poll in 2020 and found that over 80% of Product Managers either had or were currently experiencing burnout. Our January speaker, Jen Onofray, understands that burnout is an all-too-common challenge, and has personally faced its relentless grip.
During this Meetup, Jen will share her journey through burnout, detailing the unique pressures and challenges that contributed to her experience. From balancing professional ambitions with personal responsibilities to navigating workplace dynamics and high expectations, her story reflects the struggles that many of you may encounter in your critical connector roles in Product.
Jen will discuss the critical lessons she’s learned about recognizing burnout and taking proactive steps to manage it. During the Meetup we’ll explore practical strategies for setting boundaries, prioritizing self-care, and building a supportive network. By sharing her personal insights and the tools that helped her regain balance, Jen hopes to offer valuable guidance and encouragement for those who may be facing similar challenges.
Whether you're experiencing burnout or just want to stay ahead of the game, this session is designed to help you start 2025 with a healthy and balanced approach to work and life.
We are especially grateful to Jen for also hosting this Meetup at her own business - Two Frays Brewery! Two Frays has an excellent assortment of award-winning beers - including non-alcoholic beer. While food is not sold at Two Frays, you are welcome to order or pick up food and bring it with you to the Meetup. We recommend Two Frays' neighboring establishments such as Tasty Taquitos, Spak Brothers Pizza, or People's Indian Restaurant!
Street parking can be found along Penn Avenue for this Meetup.
