What we’re about
Historical Fiction Book Club for Professionals
Love a good story with rich historical depth and unforgettable characters? Join a group of like-minded professionals who enjoy diving into powerful historical fiction—and sharing perspectives over good food, a glass of wine, and plenty of laughter.
If you prefer soulful storytelling over dry nonfiction, you’re in the right place. Think A Gentleman in Moscow, Pachinko, The Nightingale—novels that blend history, culture, and the complexity of the human experience.
Here’s how it works:
We meet every 6 weeks or so, depending on schedules, at a rotating host’s home
The host provides a light meal; guests bring a bottle of wine or beverage to share
We pick one book per round and meet to discuss—casually, openly, and with no pressure
Couples, men, women—everyone is welcome. To keep things manageable and meaningful, we’ll cap the group at 8 members. The only real requirement? Be a kind, thoughtful person who enjoys engaging conversation and is open to different perspectives. While not exclusive, this group may naturally appeal to those 45 and over.
Expect a warm, relaxed atmosphere where stories matter and connections grow. Whether you’ve been in a book club that felt too rigid—or haven’t yet found your reading tribe—this could be just the right fit.
