Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society is a community-oriented non-profit organization interested in all facets of psychedelics and wellness. We are dedicated to education, advocacy, outreach, and overall support for the safe and responsible use & research of psychedelics, entheogens, and plant medicines for therapeutic, spiritual, and recreational purposes. We organize monthly community gatherings and events.
Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society does not explicitly advocate for the consumption of psychedelic substances — if you choose to engage in these substances, it is your responsibility to educate yourself on how to use these substances safely, responsibly, and intelligently.
We will provide the resources for education and support, but we do not sell psychedelic substances nor do we give your advice on how to access them.

About the Musician
Elan Frenkel is a California-born multi-instrumentalist with a talent for improvisation and weaving diverse musical traditions. Welcome to the Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society Microdosing hikes. A guided journey through nature, allowing the healing energies of the great outdoors and microdosing to enhance your connection with the natural world. Our sessions are facilitated by our leadership team and Community Partners Seba and Javi from Green Magic Yoga. This is a BYO Event, +21 years old, no buying or selling.
Weather permitting (no heavy precipitation, thunder, lightning, or weather advisory).
Agenda
- Meet at 3:00pm, depart at 3:10pm (plan to arrive 10-5 minutes earlier)
- Route: Provided after registration. Difficulty: medium
- Return around 6:00pm
- BYOM Bring your Own Mushrooms. Microdosing is optional and less than 0.3gr.
- No other substances, no buying/selling, thank you.
- We will start in a circle together at the meeting point. We will offer a brief meditation / intention sharing and opportunity to microdose in community.
- There will be a ~15min segment of the trail where we will share a silent walk. After this we’ll gather in a circle and do a mid-point check-in.
- You are invited to bring poetry, song, spiritual questions, etc.. throughout our journey together.
- We close with a check-out circle.

- Psychedelics in Recovery PIRGreen Magic Yoga, Santa Cruz, CA
This is an anonymous meeting, no need to RSVP, doors open at 7:30PM please do not come in earlier. Psychedelics in Recovery is a 12-step fellowship of people from ALL 12-step programs and other paths of Recovery who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other. Our primary purpose is to pursue Recovery and to help others do the same, as defined by the individual. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from our addictive behaviors. PIR focuses on integrating the safe, intentional, and/or ceremonial use of psychedelics and/or plant medicines to support 12-Step Recovery.

Green Magic Yoga is a studio and community dedicated to integrating yoga, mindfulness, intentional psychedelic use and movement practices for healing, growth and transformation.Community Guidelines: by attending our events you are agreeing to our agreements:
Confidentiality: It is appropriate to share your personal experiences; however, refrain from disclosing any information about other participants, including names, stories, photos, screenshots, and recordings.
Confidentiality in the Circle: What is shared here, stays here. We maintain the highest standards of confidentiality to create a trusted space for personal sharing and growth.
Active Listening: We practice holding space for each other, listening from the heart compassionately and without judgment.
Speaking from the Heart: take your time to speak sincerely and from the heart. We encourage practicing the Yoga of the Voice to help in expressing your truth.
Reflections (Feedback): Offer reflections only when requested. Avoid giving unsolicited advice or speaking condescendingly.
Honoring Time and Avoiding Cross Talk: Each participant is encouraged to share for 5-10 minutes. If feedback is requested, an additional 5-10 minutes may be allotted for this purpose. Facilitators will assist in keeping time to ensure everyone has a chance to speak.
Staying in the Circle: This circle is a sacred space, and your presence significantly contributes to the communal energy. If you join, we invite you to stay until the end. If you need to leave early, please inform the group.
Substance Policy: No buying, selling, or recommending of medicine, drugs, or related services is allowed in the circle. This ensures our space remains focused on support and safety without commercial influences.
Safety in Connections: We embody safe behavior, respecting boundaries and engaging in safe connections. Consult a facilitator if you experience any unsafe behavior, we are here to help ensure a secure environment for everyone.
Support and Resources: If you are in need of additional support or resources, please let a facilitator know after the circle.
