What we’re about
This group is for women of color, Latinas, African American, West Indian, etc., (although all women are welcome) ages 35 and up, who are interested in forming lasting friendships in a supportive and intimate setting. Our members are strong women, women gaining strength, and women who are discovering their strength. \
Do you like going to the movies, dinner, appetizers and drinks etc.,? Join us. Do you like taking a yoga, cardio dance, pole dancing, paint and sip class etc.,? Join us. Love to laugh, read, or simply vibe? Join us. Are you socially shy and ready to meet like minded women? Join us.
Basic Rules and Policies of the Hive:
Failure to follow these basic rules are grounds for removal from the group. \
2. This is a women only group.
3. All profiles must have a rea pictures. For safety reasons, we require a real picture of you so that we know who you are.
4. No solicitation of any kind. If you reach out to members or come to the meetups to promote your products, business, new found religion, your own meetup group.
etc,. you will be removed from the group.
5. We believe in mutual respect: no gossiping, criticizing, or unkind behavior toward any member or vendor. Engaging in this type of behavior are grounds for immediate removal from the group.
6. Courtesy reigns supreme. If you are a frequent (3 or more) "no show," or are constantly cancelling , you will be removed from the group. When you don't show up or frequently cancel, it impacts new members because they are waitlisted till a spot opens up, which is often at the last minute. It also makes it difficult to give the venue an accurate RSVP list.
7. Reliability is rewarded. Members who have a track record for being consistent with their attendance are the fabric of this meetup. At my discretion, these members bypass being waitlisted.
8. You assume full responsibility for your own safety. We are here to have fun in a manner that is safe. It is your responsibility as to whom you give out your personal information, ride with etc., \
